So I’ve been trying some new vocal exercises. I think I’m singing “correctly” now. It’s kind of weird though, I can’t sing as high as I used to, but I have more power. I guess I’m not as breathy anymore. If some songs sound a little weird, it’s because I’m still getting used to it.

Playing @ the Haleiwa Farmer’s Market today. They just re-opened at the Lilioukalani Church in Haleiwa Town, right across the street from Matsumoto Shave Ice. It’s open from 1:00-5:00pm. I’ll be there from 1:00-4:00pm.

Hi guys! Yikes, haven’t posted in a while. So Busy! Got my schedule up for May. I might be playing @ the Haleiwa Farmer’s Market on Sundays. Not sure yet though. They just re-opened today. They moved to the Lilioukalani Church, across the street from Matsumoto’s Shave Ice. They will have more vendors next week, and I’m sure it will continue to grow. Good food, drinks, produce, crafts, Check it out!

Wow, has it been that long since I’ve posted? Yikes!
After I fought off my cold I was really busy. Played 4 Weddings last month. I have 2 more this month, and I’m leaving for Japan on Monday. I can’t wait! I won’t be answering my phone, but you guys can still email me. I’ll be back on the 18th.

What a busy month! And we’re only half way through! Doesn’t the year always seem to go by soooooo fast! I’ve been cutting back on my gigs lately, but I’m still playing regularly at Roy’s Hawaii Kai & Princess Kaiulani. Hope to see you guys soon!

Wow, I think I found the Best home remedy for a cold! Hot tea (I used Lemon Echinacea Throat Coat)- added ginger, garlic, & cayenne pepper. Been drinking it twice a day. I was able to sing in 2 days! I’ve never been able to sing that quick after getting sick! Not 100% yet, but at least I don’t have to cancel anymore gigs. Hope to see you guys at PK tomorrow night.

Wow, has it been that long since I’ve posted something?! Yikes! I guess life has a way of keeping us all really busy huh?!
Well, as you can tell by my schedule, I’ve cut back on my gigs. I think it’s helping my voice. I was over-doing it for the last 4yrs. It feels good to have some extra time off.

Well, I’m sick again. Starting to get worried about my immune system. I guess it could be because I workout a lot, and my doctor did say that singing every night will make me more prone to getting sick because my vocal chords are always in repair. Well, being sick is definitely my least favorite thing EVER! Send me some positive-get-well energy please!

Well, I’m feeling a little better, but I had to cancel my gig @ the Moana Surfrider on Saturday. Had to cancel early so they could find a replacement. I should be better by Monday so I can sing at Princess Kaiulani. I’ll be updating my schedule if not. Thanks guys!

I will be in Japan from May 28- June 10. Mostly for vacation, but I got a last minute gig in Fukushima for a fundraiser for victims of the earthquake. I will have access to my email, but I might not respond right away- might be having too much FUN! Can’t wait! Never been to Japan!

I just got back from my private gigs on the Big Island yesterday. What a great trip! The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is Awesome!!! Thank you HGEA for flying me over there, you guys are the Best!!! Just got back from my snowboarding trip to Whistler Canada! One of the Best Trips Ever! Unfortunately I got sick on the last day, so I won’t be playing at Princess Kaiulani on Friday. Played @ Janna Fong’s Wedding (Senator Fong’s granddaughter) last night. It rained a little, but it was still a beautiful wedding. I didn’t know the Mayor and Governor would be there! Congratulations Janna & Reid!
